Sponsorship Opportunities

The Southern Arizona Junior Golf Association (SAJGA) stages over 36 junior golf tournaments and clinics throughout the year including the SAJGA Spring Classic and the Touchstone Energy SAJGA Fall Invitational as well as many other events.

Numerous companies are involved with sponsorship of Southern Arizona Junior Golf Association tournaments and each year more and more corporations are fully realizing the benefits and value in sponsoring PGA Professionals and junior golf events in their area.

Optimists International

Local chapters of Optimist International such as Rincon, HEAT, and Oro Valley generously support the Southern Arizona Junior Golf Association through tournament sponsorship, equipment donations and volunteering their time during tournaments and clinics.   Members of these organizations are instrumental in helping youth throughout the community. 

Established in 1962, the Tucson Conquistadores are a nonprofit group of civic-minded businessmen whose purpose is to raise funds for youth athletic programs. The Conquistadores proudly sponsor the Southern Arizona Junior Golf Association. Under the City of Tucson/Pima County/Conquistadores Junior Golf Program - a program the Conquistadores are perhaps most proud of - kids 18 and younger have played more than 18,000 rounds of free golf at city and county courses and over the years.

Connectivity Systems supports the Southern Arizona Junior Golf Association through tournament sponsorship, equipment donations and volunteering their time during tournaments and clinics. Connectivity Systems is a technology consulting and integration firm. Network design and installation, database/software design and development including Internet technologies, systems support, service, installation and repair.

Rodney Bell and his team at American Home Mortgage support the Southern Arizona Junior Golf Association through tournament sponsorship, equipment donations and volunteering their time during tournaments and clinics. Karsten Manufacturing supports the SAJGA through the Ping Matching program which helps raise money each year to provide equipment, lessons and clinics to our members. In addition, Karsten supplies equipment and hats for the junior clinic at the Tucson Open, as well as meeting many other of our requests that come up from time to time throughout the year.

Tucson Lady Roadrunners

The Tucson Lady Roadrunners support the Southern Arizona Junior Golf Association through tournament sponsorship, equipment donations and volunteering their time during tournaments and clinics. The Lady Roadrunners have a proud tradition of service to the community and continue that tradition with their generous support.

Touchstone Energy Cooperatives of Arizona sponsor the SAJGA Fall Invitational. This tournament matches the year's top performers throughout southern Arizona in a stroke play competition. Their generous contribution helps offset costs for our junior golfers and provides an outstanding and rewarding end of year event. Touchstone Energy Cooperatives of Arizona are member-owned, member-controlled not-for-profit electric utilities that have provided energy and supported Arizona communities for more than 60 years.

"The #1 Ball in Golf" and makers of the Pro V1 Golf Ball support the SAJGA by providing free merchandise and merchandise at a reduced rate which helps raise money each year to provide equipment, lessons and clinics to our members. Titleist - Golf's Symbol of Excellence.

The Southern Chapter Southwest Section PGA supports the SAJGA through donations of time and money. PGA professionals actively participate in SAJGA clinics, lessons and tournament play. Their commitment to junior golfers throughout southern Arizona ensures high quality instruction and venues for tournament play.

The SaddleBrooke Ladies’ Niners Golf Association is proud to contribute to Southern Arizona Junior Golf.  Each year, we hold our Desert Aloha Invitational and invite area clubs to a fun day of golf, lunch, and prizes.  A portion of the proceeds from this Event is donated to SAJGA.

Cactus and Pine GCSA

Cactus and Pine GCSA is dedicated to serving its members by enhancing their recognition as a professional association, to educating members concerning efficient and economical management of golf courses and related environmental standards, and by providing collaborative ways for members to assist and support one another. Today's golf course superintendent must be a scientist, an economist, a business manager, a personnel manager, and more. It is a very challenging profession. To help meet this challenge, superintendents need a strong, professional association. Beginning in the early 1950's, the Cactus and Pine GCSA was just a handful of individuals who met to exchange ideas. This small group has grown into an Association with more than 600 members. A Board of Directors and Standing Committees direct the external and internal workings of the Association. We are affiliated with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) which serves superintendents internationally. Cactus and Pine GCSA members are leading the way as Environmental Stewards to address such timely issues as water conservation, ground water protection, pesticide use and safety, and environmental protection. We work in conjunction with the Club Managers Association, the Southwest Section PGA, the Arizona Golf Association and the Women's Golf Association to promote the game of golf in Arizona.
