Listed below you will find information in regards to the different honors that members of the SAJGA compete for throughout the season.


Player of the Year Awards

Ringgenberg Trophy for Boys Divisions
Booth Trophy for Girls Division

When players play in more than one age division, they maintain points in both divisions winning awards in each division as their points in that division warrant it.  Juniors play in the Invitational based upon their age as of the last tournament preceding it regardless of what division they were playing when they earned their invitation.


Lowest Stroke Average Award

Vig Trophy for Boys and Girls Divisions

Most Improved Award

Vayre Trophy awarded to one boy and one girl (ages 6-18)

SAJGA Jensen Cup Team

The Jason Jensen Cup Team Match Play Competition is a multi-team event for boys ages 9-14.

Pre-qualified members will come from the previous year's POY trophy winners, remainder of the team will come from current year POY standings and then, lowest stroke average will determine final team members.



JGAA State Championships

The winner of the SAJGA Touchstone Energy Invitational in the Boys and Girls 15-18 Age Division will receive an automatic invitation to play in the JGAA Boys or Girls State Championship.  Other JGAA invitations are given to players who place highly in the Player of the Year standings.


SAJGA Touchstone Energy Invitational

The top players from the SAJGA Player of the Year standings in the 6-18 age divisions will be invited to compete.

Any player that has won a tournament in the 6-18 age divisions is automatically invited.


Junior Golf Scoreboard Ranked Tournaments

All two-day (36 hole) 13-18 age division tournaments, with a minimum of 5 players,  are reported
