Grounding a Club in a Hazard

In a Stroke Play Tournament...

Robin hit her drive into a sand bunker. A sand bunker is a hazard. Robin must hold her club above the sand, and not touch the sand with her club until her club comes down on the forward swing to hit the ball. If she touches the sand with her club when she is addressing the ball, she will get a two stroke penalty. Note: When you hit a shot from a sand bunker or from a water hazard, be sure to hold the club above the sand or above the water before you start your backswing. Be sure to hold the club above any area of ground inside a hazard.
